Leah and Patrick embarked on a wedding day that was nothing short of emotional and brimming with love! They had their elegant mountain wedding at a gorgeous venue in Woodside, CA. The Mountain Terrace is a breathtaking wedding venue nestled among towering trees, offering a picturesque and serene natural setting for couples to exchange their vows. This celebration for Leah and Patrick was filled with so many special moments and it was an honor to be able to capture it for them. Intimate Moments During L + P’s Elegant Wedding Day

Patrick’s father, a beloved presence in their lives, had passed away before the wedding day arrived. Leah and Patrick made sure that they honored him throughout their entire wedding day. While his absence was deeply felt, his spirit was very much a part of the day. Patrick wore his father’s watch and cuff links. Among those cuff links was one featuring a bull. There was one point during the day where I was trying to hide Patrick from seeing Leah. I ended up sticking him in a room right next to a bull figurine. Patrick pointed out that it reminded him of his dad. It was a very sweet moment that he got to have to himself before getting married.

After the ceremony, Leah and Patrick decided to share private vows with one another. I loved that they did this and was honored that I was able to capture it for them! During the ceremony, Leah’s mother played a special role by conducting a hand-fasting ritual, a symbolic gesture of unity and commitment. The reception was so lively and fun! They had a live band for reception, and Leah’s best friend sang a song. It was so great and a special moment!
