Diana And Jordon’s Elegant Wedding Day in Acampo, CA

I was on the phone with a bride-to-be, and she asked me “What makes you different?” I paused
because I had never been asked that before. “What a good question!”, I thought to myself. Then I thought
about Diana and Jordon’s romantic wedding day.…

I thought about how good it felt that Diana and Jordon wholly trusted me when capturing their day. I thought about the way I started sobbing when, in his vows to Diana, Jordan quoted the children’s book “Love You Forever”. And the moment Diana’s Mom came up to me and hugged me tightly, thanking me for being there to capture their day. I thought about how I cried when Jordan’s sister gave her toast, honoring the man Jordon had become despite losing his father at such a young age. And the way I laughed so hard as I chatted with D’s girlfriends about random things throughout the day. And mostly the way Diana grabbed my hand at the end of the night. Telling me how much she loved that I was there and appreciated me for everything that day.

I didn’t want to leave. I could’ve hung out with them all forever, and this isn’t the first time this has happened.

“I don’t even know where to start because the whole journey was so beautiful and amazing. I found Sydnee on instagram and instantly fell in love with her vision and style. She was with us from the very beginning of our engagement photo shoot all the way to our wedding day. My husband I were so nervous going into this because we aren’t the type to be in front of the camera but Sydnee made us feel so comfortable and guided us through each step of the process.

When it came to the wedding day we were so stressed due to issues with the venue and despite all of that Sydnee managed to not only capture amazing photos but almost also become our event coordinator which made the whole day flow with such ease. Although Sydnee was there as our photographer it almost felt like having another family member there and as one person in the EXTREME heat she managed to capture all the key moments. As mentioned earlier we happened to get hit with a heat wave on the weekend of our wedding and we were all drowning in sweat but despite that Sydnee was able to capture us in the most beautiful way with the PERFECT lighting.

When we got our wedding photos back I got a rush of all the feels of that day and seeing how she captured the pure raw emotions made me want to go back to that weekend again. I could honestly go on and on about how amazing she was & is but all it takes is one phone call with her and you’ll know exactly what I mean. It’s one thing to find a photographer who is skilled in their field, but to find one who is skilled, loving & compassionate! What more could you ask for <3″
